The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new product marking that will be used in the domestic market instead of the CE marking. The categories of products that are subject to EU Directives will be required to carry the UKCA mark after the UK leaves the EU. However, if the UK leaves the EU without engagement, products are allowed to use the CE marking to demonstrate compliance with the legal requirements and to sell products on the UK market for a limited period of time. The exception is medical devices.

Please, note that if a product requires self-declaration of conformity, the same procedure with regards to UKCA marking will be required for the product to be sold in the UK market.
You should attach the UKCA marking to the product itself but in some cases it may be placed on the packaging, in manuals or on other supporting documents.
The UKSA marking should be at least 5 mm in height (if other minimum dimensions are not specified additionally in the relevant legislation). It should be easily visible, legible, and indelible
