The Russian Accreditation Authority (Federal Service for Accreditation—RusAccreditation) has inspected the activities of Russian certification bodies, organizations, and testing laboratories for possible violations.

During January and February 2019, RusAccreditation conducted 225 inspections.

The inspections were made to:

• Eliminate non-compliance with accreditation criteria  
• Assess the implementation of previously issued injunctions  
• Reveal possible violations by accredited individuals

As a result of the inspection of certification authorities:

• 15 accreditation authorities received temporary injunctions in order to fix violations  
• 10 accreditation authorities were suspended (including 2 certification bodies, 7 test laboratories, and 1 organization ensuring measurement traceability)  
• 25 judicial acts were issued to violators  
• 6 accreditations of organizations were terminated

The following two accreditation bodies were closed due to the non-elimination of inconsistencies in the accreditation criteria revealed during the procedure for the confirmation of competence:

One test laboratory:

The following four accreditation bodies were closed due to the non-elimination of the previously issued improvement notice:

2 test laboratories:

“Econorm” laboratory center, LLC - РОСС RU.0001.21АУ19

«Spectr-К» CJSC - RA.RU.21ГД02

2 conformity bodies:

“Ideal test”, LLC  - RA.RU.11ДО11

“YuRCPBS”, LLC  - RA.RU.11АБ09

RusAccreditation together with the Russian supervision authorities will continue to conduct serious work to prevent the flow of potentially hazardous products into the Russian market circulation along with the elimination of dishonest participants.
