The Telecommunication Engineering Center of India (TEC) has recently issued an important notification regarding the testing and certification of telecommunication equipment. The changes introduced in the official notification no. 5-2/2021-TC/TEC/131, dated June 13, 2022, affect Phase-III & Phase-IV of the MTCTE regime.
According to the notification, the mandatory certification dates for certain products have been postponed as follows:
TEC has also extended the last date of acceptance for test reports issued by labs with ILAC accreditation from non-border sharing countries to December 31, 2023 for the following products:
However, it's important to note that TEC only accepts test reports with a validity period not exceeding two years.
