National Telecommunications Agency of Brazil (ANATEL) issued Act No 1306 on February 26, 2021. This Act amends Act No. 14.448 on Technical Requirements for the Conformity Assessment of Restricted Radio Communication Equipment with regard to broadband wireless access systems.
It establishes requirements to the systems operating in the 5.925-7.125 MHz frequency bands. Thus, Indoor Access Point and Subordinate Access Point must meet the following rules:
A Client equipment operating under the control of an indoor Access Point must meet the following rules:
Extremely Low Power Equipment must meet the following rules:
Please, note ер that the Indoor and Subordinate Access Points must be powered directly by the electric power network. Battery power is not allowed. The Indoor and Subordinate Access Points, Client Equipment, and Very Low Power should use only embedded antennas.
