The National Communications Entity of Argentina (ENACOM) continues to extend the validity of type approval certificates.

The first Resolution No. 326/2020 was issued in April 2020. In the context of epidemiological emergencies, which affects all countries and implemented temporary measures to extend the validity of certain type approval certificates up to 60 days because of the mandatory lockdown in Argentina.

Then the ENACOM decided to extend the approval once again and issued Resolution 461/2020 that modifies article 2 of the Resolution No. 326/2020 and extends the expiration date of certificates for the term of sixty days starting from July 1, 2020.

Thus, the validity of the expired certificate must be cancelled on August 30, 2020.

However, the epidemiological situation is still unclear, that is why it was decided to modify the Article 2 of the ENACOM Resolution No. 326/2020 dated by April 2, 2020 once again and extend the validity of type approval certificates, permits, registrations, and licenses that were expired since March 16, 2020. This modification applies to documents that will expire by September 17, 2020.

This new Resolution 771/2020 extends the validity of certificates, registrations, licenses etc for the term of sixty calendar  days. The term of the extension should start from September 18, 2020.

So, the validity of the certificates automatically extends to November 17, 2020.
