After evaluating the epidemiological situation in the country, The National Communications Entity of Argentina (ENACOM) made the decision to extend the validity of R&TTE permitting once again.
First time, the ENACOM took this decision on April 2, 2020. They issued the Resolution No. 326 where they extended the validity of certain Approvals which have an expiry date between March 16, 2020 and May 16, 2020 by a period of 60 calendar days from the expiration date. The main reason was the mandatory lockdown from March 20 until April 12 in Argentina.
From that time, the ENACOM continues to extend the validity of type approval certificates, permits, registrations, and licenses that are going to be cancelled due to the unclear epidemiological situation.
The previous Resolution automatically extends the validity of type approval certificates, permits, registrations, and licenses to November 17, 2020.
Thus, at the end of October 2020, the ENACOM issued Resolution 1223/2020 to modify the initial Resolution 326. According to this new Resolution, the validity of permits, authorisations, registrations, registrations, and licenses that were extended due to epidemiological emergencies from March 16, 2020 to November 17, 2020 will be extended once again for a term of sixty calendar days starting from November 18, 2020.
