Indonesian Directorate General of Posts and Information Resources and Equipment (SDPPI) has issued Regulation №16 of 2018 dated by December 31, 2018. This Regulation has been adopted in order to improve the effectiveness of certification services for telecommunication equipment and guarantee the quality of commercially available telecommunication equipment.
The Regulation became effective from January 1, 2019.
According to this Regulation, the manufacturer must affix the Label and QR Code to the Telecommunications device and its package according to the received certificate.
The example of the label is below:
Where, Nomor Sertifikat is a number of the certificate issued to the product.
Nomor PLG ID is a unique registration number of the certificate holder
If it is not possible to affix the label on the device, it can be affixed only on the package.
A warning sign must be affixed on the telecommunications device as well, excluding SRDs.

The note says: “It is prohibited to make changes to Telecommunications Devices. It can cause electromagnetic interference to the surrounding environment”.
Please note, that the holder of the Certificate must prove that the labels and QR code are affixed properly by providing the notification body with the relevant photos of the product with the labels. These photos must be sent within 30 working days after the certificate issued.
