EAEU Simplifies Import Procedure for Tomographic Scanners

The Eurasian Economic Commission extended the list of civil radio-electronic equipment and high-frequency devices that do not require any authorizations for import.

Thus, the list will contain the magnetic resonance imaging scanners and medical MRI systems. Moreover, specific purposes of using radio receiving facilities without radio-emitting devices were excluded from the list as the operation of such devices does not make any interference and doesn’t cause harm.

Now to import the above-mentioned medical devices you are not required to pass additional administrative procedures and spend extra time for the customs declaration procedure.

The Decision comes in force in 30 calendar days after its official publication.
