Brazil Updates Technical Requirements and Testing Procedures for Certain Telecom Products

The National Telecommunication Agency of Brazil (ANATEL) issued ACT 209 that updates the list of technical requirements and testing procedures applicable to the certification of telecommunication products Category 1. It also changes the requirements for Cellular Mobile Telephone and Terminal Access Station - ETA.

The technical requirements cover the minimum mandatory characteristics that should be observed in the process of assessing the conformity of Terminal Access Stations and relevant normative references.
