The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) issued the Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class License Variation 2022 (No. 1). This document amends the Radiocommunications (Low Interference Potential Devices) Class License 2015 (the LIPD Class License) and is based on the relevant public suggestions but some issues most probably will be reflected in the future changes to the LIPD Class License.
The current document adds a new frequency band: 5925–6425 MHz for the operation of Radio Local Area Network transmitters at low power levels and corrects the previous errors with regard to carrier frequencies.
