The EU Commission published two new Commission Regulations on refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function in October 2019. The first Regulation 2019/2024 concerns ecodesign requirements. The second one is Commission Regulations 2019/2018 for energy labelling.
Both Regulations became completely effective from March 1, 2021. They apply to electric mains-operated refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function, including appliances sold for refrigeration of items other than foodstuffs.
